The Humble Indie Bundle
A friend gifted me the Humble Indie Bundle games pack.
Coolio.
All are great games. I like Shank most, though.
Super Meat Boy just manages to make me rage.
The picture of me falling into a god damn hacksaw is burned into my god damn retina.
Despite it's power to influence me to stab homeless people and kidnap children, it's a solid game.
It would be a lot better though, If meat boy would scream in agonizing pain every time he falls into flames and his flesh starts melting off. Then I would even do it on purpose to relieve the anger.

Batman: Arkham City review
So I just finished with Arkham City. That was weird. Kinda short.
I'm getting tired of games that are short and try to pack on extra lenght by adding side missions and unlockable costumes.
But nevertheless, this was a great game.
The story gets twisted and turned upside down multiple times and it manages to keep things interesting.
All the encountered characters, their dialogues and behaviour, are marvellous. Just listening to Dr. Freeze talk is an ear orgasm.
The gameplay is fluid. Although the combat seems to drag on sometimes, it's quite pleasent bashing in some skulls with some endgame upgrades like the combo build thingy. The controls are solid, except when you have to dodge a blade attack. That seemed a bit weird. Gliding and grappling are easy to master and really fun.
Playing as Catwoman is equally awesome.
The sound. The combat sound effects are just so satisfying. The punching, whipcracks, grappling hook etc. sounds are so crisp. The music kicks in at the best times and is generally heavenly. Might even download the OST.
The graphics. Well, it seemed to me as if nothing had changed since Arkham Asylum. The animation seems a bit more fluid though.
The only problem I found is that it's very hard. A god damn room full of Tyger guards with thermal vision, snipers,mines and heartbeat monitors. ;___;
But that makes achieveing your goal all the more satisfying.

Trine
So I just got Trine 2 about 3 days ago. Made 2 gameplay videos of it.
Really good game. Innovative puzzles nad fun gameplay. The graphics are nice and colourful not like most modern games where the graphics have been shat on. What I found awesome was that Mana has been removed altogether and the mage can levitate enemies. Very cool indeed.
I suggest you give it a try.
